Top 5 Sneakers that are in Style

For the past two years, i've seen the popular trend of the ugly dad sneaker through my Instagram feed. Some fashion influencers have adopted this trend and making it their personal style. When Balenciaga introduced the triple S sneakers, it took the fashion industry by storm. Many popular brands try to emulate the popular footwear, while putting their own flare to it. With this trend coming into a rise, many fashion revivals came into place. To Reebok classics, skechers, and buffalo Londons (to name a few) , the classic footwear has made its staple in the fashion industry. While exploring through my news feed and my favorite fashion website (Hypebae.com), i've seen very fascinating sneakers that are struting the fashion runways and sneakers that are soon to become a rise this year.
Obviously, they are many sneakers to choose from, but i narrowed it down to 5 pairs of sneakers that are currently in style.
1. Ader Error x Puma rs-100
Starting off this list , I want to talk about the Ader Error x Puma rs-100. These sneakers made its appearance in the 2019 spring/summer collection last year. What i like about the show is the retro-futurism it brings and .captures the aesthetic of the 80s. Furthermore, it also reminds me how Back in the 80s, many software companies wanted to expanded their horizons in regards in the expansion of technology in art and architecture. With the rs-100 (many would call it the rs-computer), it shows how in the 80s, people were able to think outside the box and come up with trends that would later become a trend again years later.
2. Buffalo London Sneakers
Second on the list we have the buffalo londons. Last year, the buffalo london sneakers made its comeback from the 90s, while the craze of the sneaker trend was at an all time high. Introduced by the Spice Girls in the 90s, the shoe really captures the essence of rave culture scene. Furthermore, buffalo londons comes in a variety of different forms. To high-tops to low-tops, these sneakers is the epitome of platform due to its bulky size. Many fashion infuencers and celebrities have rocked the famous sneakers via instagram.
3. Nike Air Max Plus
Out of the other sneakers i mentioned in this article, you can't go wrong with Nike. Over the years, Nike has established itself as one of the best streetwear brands known to man and I've been very pleased of recent releases in the past year. The Nike Air Max Plus release would have to be my favorite because these sneakers brings out versatility. It comprises different forms of colour patterns and knowing that nike is a sports brand, streetwear and sports-wear do work well together. With the compliments of the shoe, you are able to create stunning and stylish looks.
4. Skechers D'Lites
The reason why I love the old school skechers sneakers is because of how simple it looks. Whether you are going for a street look or wearing something casual, the skechers D'Lites fits perfectly. These popular sneakers was a major trend in the 90s, were celebrities were rocking it back in the day. The revival of the old school skechers came into place while many fashion influencers (many fashion users from depop) started to bring it back.
5. Balenciaga "Triple S" Sneakers
i will never stop expressing my love for Balenciaga's Triple S Sneakers. Since 2017, the triple S sneakers has become one of the most popular platform sneaker in the fashion industry. They are one of the reasons why the ugly dad shoe trend came into existence. I will admit it, i was a bit skeptical about the sneakers when it first arrived at my computer screen, but that all changed once i saw many influencers adding their own style to it, I gave it a chance. Many hypebeasts lovers express their love for the triple S. For sneakers to be out for three years and still be relevant, Balenciaga has done a great job.
